Position Highlights:
Location: Indianapolis (with support to South Bend office); hybrid flexibility available
Team: You will be the firm’s primary HR professional, supported by an AP Specialist and Practice Manager, and work closely with a managing partner

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration:
Lead the full employee lifecycle, from drafting offer letters and onboarding to approving time off requests and responding to handbook inquiries.
Ensure smooth coordination with Accounting, Facilities, and IT to support internal personnel actions.
Employee Benefits Management:
Administer health, life, and disability plans, including enrollments, claims, and renewals.
Insurance & Risk Management:
Oversee firm-wide insurance policies (health, workers’ compensation, employment practices).
Act as the main liaison with providers and brokers for renewals and updates.
Employee Relations & Development:
Support performance management, evaluations, attendance issues, and disciplinary actions.
Drive employee recognition efforts.
Policy & Compliance:
Draft and update HR policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain personnel records and support wellness and health initiative projects.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of HR business partnership experience, ideally within professional services
Proven track record in employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Skills:
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience collaborating with senior leadership and committees
Excellent organizational abilities and discretion with sensitive information
Tech-savvy and eager to learn new platforms
